Alumni Cross Country Run is held at Holmdel Park in Holmdel, New Jersey, on November 14, 2026, hosted by Shore A.C. in memory of Bill Bruno. The 5K Race starts at 8:30 a.m. and the 3K Race (1.9 miles) at 9 a.m., with both individual and team competition; schools, clubs and groups can enter teams, the first three runners score, and the rest count as substitutes.

Cross country is its own discipline: grass and dirt underfoot, no even splits, and a race decided by position more than by time. Spikes or trail shoes help. Chip timing and live results keep the scoring straight, and awards go to the leading men, women, masters and teams. Proceeds support Shore Athletic Club youth programs and Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
