AZT Vail Scramble

Join the AZT Vail Scramble, a race offering trail courses through the valley between the Santa Rita and Rincon Mountains, with challenging elevation and classic Sonoran Desert scenery. The marathon (26.2 miles) and half marathon (13.1 miles) are point-to-point courses starting south of Vail, while the 10K starts near Sahuarita Road and joins the marathon route for the final stretch. All three races finish at the Gabe Zimmerman Trailhead on the Arizona Trail. Runners are shuttled to the start lines, with parking available at the Vail School District. Proceeds benefit the Arizona Trail Association's trail maintenance and protection work.
