The Cactus Rose Endurance Trail Race challenges runners on tough, technical terrain in Bandera, Texas, in the heart of Texas Hill Country. The course features steep, technical climbs and descents across varied terrain, with limited aid along the way, meaning runners need to be largely self-sufficient. Distance options span from a 1-mile fun run and a 5-mile race up through 25-mile, 50-mile, and 100-mile ultra distances.

Medical staff are on hand for safety, but the demanding, lightly-supported format rewards experienced, well-prepared trail runners. Registration is capped at 500 participants.
