Captain Jack's Treasure Run

Captain Jack's Treasure Run goes through the streets of Redmond, Washington, on October 25, 2026. The 5K starts first at 10:00 a.m., the 12K and 8K follow at 10:10 a.m., and a kids' race opens the morning at 9:45 a.m. The pirate theme is part of the deal, and every entrant receives a medal, a shirt, a bib and a timing chip.

The 12K is the interesting option here. At roughly 7.5 miles it sits between a 10K and a 10-miler, long enough to demand pacing discipline but short enough to race off ordinary weekly mileage. Treat it as a sustained-effort day rather than an all-out one. The 8K, at about 5 miles, and the 5K are better if you want a shorter, faster morning in costume.
