Carpe Diem Epilepsy Race

Carpe Diem Epilepsy Race takes place in Toledo, Ohio, on November 1, 2026, with two distances on the road: a 5K at 9 a.m. and a 3K (1.9 miles) fifteen minutes later at 9:15 a.m. Both can be run or walked.

Entry includes a race shirt, a timing chip and a commemorative bracelet, and pets are welcome to come along with their owners. The event raises awareness and funds for the epilepsy programs of the Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio, and it is built around bringing individuals and families together in support of people affected by epilepsy. With the two starts fifteen minutes apart, mixed-ability groups can set off close together and regroup at the finish, and the shorter 3K is well within reach for anyone who has never raced before.
