Coastal Delaware Running Festival

Coastal Delaware Running Festival takes place in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, on April 10-11, 2027. Saturday opens with the 5K run/walk at 9 a.m., and Sunday carries the rest: the marathon (26.2 miles) at 7 a.m., the 9K run/walk (5.6 miles) at 7:20 and the half marathon (13.1 miles) at 7:40. The courses take in the Delaware coast, including the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk and the trails of Delaware State Park, and the marathon is a Boston qualifier. Refreshments and music wait at the finish, and proceeds go to the Delaware Seashore Preservation Foundation and local charities.

A Boston-qualifying marathon deserves a proper build: sixteen weeks with a weekly long run and a couple of sessions at goal pace, rather than a late surge of mileage. If you are not chasing a standard, the half on Sunday and the 5K on Saturday combine into a manageable weekend double.
