Conquer Cancer Walk/Run

Conquer Cancer Walk/Run takes place at Rowlett Park in Tampa, Florida, on December 5, 2026. Three formats start together at 9 a.m.: a 5K, a 2K (1.2 miles) and a 1-mile walk/run, so every pace is covered. Registration is free and includes a gift bag and a medal, with paid options for anyone who wants to give more, and proceeds go to cancer programs, in particular support for young women with breast cancer through the Young Survivors Network.

This is a community road event rather than a competitive one, and the spread of distances makes it easy to bring a whole group: the mile suits first-timers and kids, while the 5K gives regular runners something to push on.
