Crow's Nest Run for the Rescues 5K

Crow's Nest Run for the Rescues 5K takes place at the Crow's Nest in Ashtabula, Ohio, on November 1, 2026, with the 5K starting at 11 a.m. It is a themed race: participants turn out in Cleveland Browns or Pittsburgh Steelers colors.

An after-party closes the morning, and awards go to the overall winners as well as to the fastest runners in each age category, so there is something to race for whatever your level. Proceeds benefit the Ashtabula County Animal Protective League, a nonprofit that cares for stray animals and promotes responsible pet ownership. An 11 a.m. start also means you can eat a normal breakfast and still have hours to digest before running, and the 3.1-mile distance is short enough that walkers and first-timers fit right in.
