Fly with the Eagles Half Marathon

Fly with the Eagles Half Marathon is run in Murphysboro, in Jackson County, Illinois, on February 13, 2027. One distance is offered, the half marathon (13.1 miles), starting at 9 a.m. on a scenic course designed with sustainability in mind: the race is cupless, and volunteers refill runners' bottles at the aid points instead of handing out disposable cups. Finishers receive a custom medal, and there are special awards for the first three men and women as well as for each age group winner.

Cupless racing changes your preparation a little, since you need to carry a bottle or a soft flask and get used to drinking from it at pace during your long runs.
