Fort4Fitness Winter Wonder Dash

Fort4Fitness Winter Wonder Dash runs across two evenings in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on November 13–14, 2026. The 2K Walk opens the event at 6 p.m. on the Friday and the 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles) follows at 6:15 p.m. on the Saturday. Fort4Fitness and Blue Jacket, Inc. organize it, and a virtual option is available.

The draw is the setting: participants walk or run through Franke Park's Christmas light display before the area opens to cars, a well-loved local tradition. That makes it more of an outing than a time trial, and both the 2K and the 5K are comfortably walkable. Virtual entrants can complete their distance anywhere and receive a shirt and a commemorative ornament. Evening starts mean you can train normally that week and simply keep the day itself light.
