GBRC Honeywagon Runs

GBRC Honeywagon Runs takes place in Everson, Washington, on March 27, 2027. The half marathon (13.1 miles) run or walk starts at 8:00 AM and the four-mile run or walk follows at 10:00 AM, with both starting and finishing at the Nooksack Valley Middle School parking lot. The name comes from the manure carts used in local farming.

The roads are flat and rural, which makes this a fair place to chase a half marathon time, but they stay open to traffic, so you need to run alert and follow directions from marshals. Cash prizes go to the winners in the half marathon and four-mile categories, with additional prizes for runners-up. A flat course rewards even pacing above all: hold your goal pace through the first six miles rather than banking time, and you will have something left for the last three.
