Gingerbread Lane 5K & 10K Austin

Gingerbread Lane 5K & 10K Austin is held at Lake Pflugerville Park in Pflugerville, Texas, on December 5, 2026. A Kids Dash opens the morning at 8:55 a.m., then the 10K, the 5K and a 1-mile run all start together at 9 a.m. Entrants receive a themed shirt and medal, gingerbread cookies and milk wait at the finish, and a holiday costume contest with prizes, music, live awards and group discounts round out the event.

Having the 10K and 5K go off at the same time means committing early: the 10K asks for a genuine base of about 15 to 20 miles a week and rewards patience over the first two miles, while the 5K suits a shorter build and a harder opening.
