The Golden Leaf Half Marathon (13.1 miles) is a high-altitude trail race running from Snowmass Village to downtown Aspen, Colorado.

Organized by the Ute Mountaineer and the City of Aspen, the race is known for its technical singletrack course, steep climbs, and wooded descents, all set against the spectacular fall colors of Colorado's peaks. Runners follow the historic Government Trail, moving from open ski runs through dense aspen groves and mountain meadows before finishing at Koch Park in Aspen. Named by Trail Runner magazine as one of the most scenic races in the country, it's both a stunning and physically demanding challenge. The finish includes a post-race barbecue, a raffle, and awards for top finishers.
