Groveland Turkey Trot 5K & 10K

Groveland Turkey Trot 5K & 10K is the AdventHealth Groveland Turkey Trot, presented by FloDash Events in Groveland, Florida, on November 26, 2026. The 10K (6.2 miles) starts at 7:15 a.m. and the 5K (3.1 miles) follows at 7:25 a.m. Both runners and walkers are welcome on a course that crosses scenic hills on roads closed with the support of local authorities, including a section on rougher terrain. Registration includes a timed bib, a race shirt, a finisher medal and post-race refreshments, and discounted team entries and awards are available, with live artwork offered as prizes.

Hills are unusual for a Florida race, so build a few rolling routes into your training if you want to run either distance hard. The 10K rewards eight weeks of steady mileage with a weekly tempo run and a longer weekend outing; the 5K is a manageable first race after a month of easy run/walk sessions.
