The High Country Turkey Trot is an annual event on the Boone Greenway Trail in Boone, North Carolina, combining timed races with a noncompetitive fun run/walk. Competitive runners can race the 5K or 10K, both of which cross scenic wooded trails, while the fun run/walk follows paved paths.
