Honor Run Half Marathon

Honor Run Half Marathon is held in Florence, Kentucky, in Boone County, on November 15, 2026, with three distances open to all levels: the Half Marathon presented by St. Elizabeth Healthcare (13.1 miles) at 7:00 AM, and the 10K Run/Walk (6.2 miles) and 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles) presented by Medpace, both at 7:45 AM. The course runs through the streets and green spaces of the Burlington community. Proceeds go to Honor Flight Tri State, which funds trips for local veterans to the memorials in Washington, D.C., and awards go to the top finishers in each distance.

The half marathon is a solid late-fall goal, whether it's your first 13.1 or a PR attempt on a road course; plan on a 12-week build with a weekly long run that reaches 10 to 11 miles before you taper. The 10K and 5K run/walk options make it easy to bring family along, and their later start lets you cheer the half marathoners off before your own race.
