Howl-o-ween 5K - Ocala

Howl-o-ween 5K - Ocala takes place in Ocala, Florida, on November 14, 2026. The single format is a 5k (3.1 miles) that starts at 9:00 AM. It is a charity event in support of animal shelters, and participants can walk or run with their dogs on a leash. Everyone receives a custom bib, an event t-shirt, a finisher medal and a special Doggie Charm pendant.

Walkers and strollers are welcome, and dogs take part for free, so this is a race you can share with the whole family, four-legged members included. A virtual Howl-o-ween option lets you cover the distance wherever and whenever suits you and receive the race goodies by mail, including finisher medals for humans and dogs. If you plan to run with your dog, do a few practice runs together over a couple of miles so your companion is used to the pace and to running around other people and animals, and bring water for both of you.
