Jackson County Ultras

Jackson County Ultras is based at the Pyoca Camp and Retreat Center in Brownstown, Indiana, on December 5, 2026. Three trail distances are on offer: the 100K and the 50K both start at 7:30 a.m., and the 10-mile follows at 8 a.m., with solo and relay entries available and a 24-hour cutoff covering every distance. Aid stations are well stocked, live tracking is provided, 100K finishers collect a belt buckle, and cash prizes, age-group awards and professional race photos round out the package.

A 24-hour limit turns the 100K into a race most trained ultrarunners can finish, but it still demands months of back-to-back long runs and a rehearsed nutrition plan. The 50K is the natural step up from a marathon, and the 10-mile is a genuine trail race in its own right. Indoor space for resting, optional meals and camping nearby make crewing straightforward.
