JingleJog

JingleJog is a festive run and walk held on December 5, 2026 in downtown Fenton, Michigan, with a 5K run and a 5K walk both starting at 3:00 PM. The course starts and finishes at the Family Life Center of the Fenton United Methodist Church, is designed for all ability levels, and participants are invited to wear holiday-themed outfits. The event opens Fenton's JingleFest celebrations, which close with a lighted parade, the town tree lighting and fireworks.

A 3:00 PM start is worth planning around: you have the whole day to eat normally, so keep the last real meal three hours out and stay on your feet rather than sitting all morning. With a separate walk category, there is no need to jog between walking stretches to keep up. Runners chasing a time should warm up longer than usual, since December afternoons take a while to loosen the legs.
