JSRC New Year’s Eve 2 Mile Twilight Fun Run/Walk & Party

JSRC New Year’s Eve 2 Mile Twilight Fun Run/Walk & Party is put on by the Jersey Shore Running Club in Manasquan, New Jersey, on December 31, 2026. The single format covers 2 miles (3.2 kilometers) and starts at 4:00 p.m. It is open to everyone, deliberately festive and non-competitive, with course marshals looking after safety along the route. A free buffet at Leggett's Sand Bar follows, and proceeds go to Manasquan Cares and the Manasquan Food Pantry. Entry is available early, in advance, or on the day itself.

Two miles is about as low a barrier as racing gets, which is the point: bring family, walk it if you like, and stay for the party. Runners who want a workout out of it can push the pace hard for twenty minutes or so, since the distance is too short to require any specific preparation.
