Lost Trail Half Marathon & 5K Run/Walk

Lost Trail Half Marathon & 5K Run/Walk is held at Granite Beach, in the Folsom Lake State Recreation Area near Granite Bay, California, on February 20, 2027. The half marathon (13.1 miles) starts at 8:00 a.m. and the 5K ten minutes later. Both follow well-marked singletrack, with views over the lake and wildflowers along the way, and aid stations on course.

Singletrack rewards patience: you will spend stretches of the race in single file, so settle into a rhythm early rather than fighting for position. A half marathon on trail asks for roughly the same 12-week build as a road one, with a couple of the long runs shifted onto dirt. Finishers receive medals, awards go to overall and age-group leaders, custom shirts can be ordered in advance, and the races are held rain or shine.
