LOTO Turkey Trot - MO

LOTO Turkey Trot - MO is held on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2026, at Camdenton High School in Camdenton, Missouri, near Lake of the Ozarks. The morning starts with the LOTO Turkey Trot 1 mile fun run at 7:45 a.m., followed by the LOTO Turkey Trot 5K (3.1 miles), which you can run or walk, at 8:30 a.m. Proceeds are split between the Camdenton cross-country team and the Share the Harvest food pantry.

With the fun run going off 45 minutes before the 5K, kids can have their own race and still cheer for the adults at the main start. If you plan to run the 5K hard, a few weeks of short intervals on top of regular easy running will sharpen you up, and the gap between the two events gives you time for a proper warm-up jog. If you are walking or jogging with family, a couple of comfortable 3-mile outings beforehand are all the preparation you need. Late November at the Lake of the Ozarks is usually cool in the morning, so bring a layer for the start.
