About
Mid-South Races for Hope is held in Wynne, Arkansas, on October 31, 2026. Three distances are offered, a 5K, a half marathon (13.1 miles) and a marathon (26.2 miles), on courses that mix city streets, public parks and the natural areas around town.
The marathon is the centerpiece, and it deserves a proper build: 16 to 18 weeks of training with a weekly long run climbing toward 20 miles, plus a few sessions at goal pace. The half makes a good stepping stone if the full distance is still a year away, and the 5K keeps the day open to runners who are just getting started. The event is run in support of a charitable cause, in the Cross County countryside.
