MLK Jr. Freedom Run 5K/10K/13.1 PHOENIX takes place in Phoenix, Arizona, on January 16, 2027, one date in a national series honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The start here is half an hour earlier than at the other stops: the half marathon (13.1 miles), the 10K, the 5K and a one mile family fun run all leave at 7 a.m. The event is untimed. Entry includes a bib, a shirt, a finisher towel and a medal, and a virtual option is available.
