The Napa Valley Marathon takes place in Calistoga, California, and is considered one of the most scenic courses in the country. It runs mostly along the Silverado Trail, the region's famous wine route, carrying runners past vineyards and through the rolling hills of Napa Valley.

Three distances are offered: the full marathon (26.2 miles), a half marathon, and a 5K. Fields are limited each year, so runners are encouraged to register early to secure a spot.
