Olivette Turkey Trot

Olivette Turkey Trot takes place in Olivette, Missouri, on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026. The 5K (3.1 miles) starts at 8:00 a.m., as does a Kids Fun Run for the youngest participants. The 5K is a loop course that starts and finishes at Stacy Park, taking runners through paved residential streets and along a quiet asphalt trail. Chip timing is provided for results, an awards ceremony follows the race, and all proceeds go to the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry.

A loop on paved streets and a smooth trail is about as runner-friendly as a 5K course gets, so this is a reasonable place to try for a personal best. Give yourself six to eight weeks with three runs a week and one session of short intervals, then run the first mile under control and pick up the pace on the trail section. Families can run the 5K and the kids' event on the same morning. Late November in the St. Louis area is often cold at 8:00 a.m., so plan on layers and a short warm-up jog.
