Patriot Run - Billings

Patriot Run - Billings is held in Billings, Montana, on November 8, 2026. There are two options: a 2K at 12 p.m. and a 5K run/walk at 1 p.m., taking you on a scenic route through Mountview Cemetery. Proceeds from the event go toward funeral services for veterans and the upkeep of the veterans section.

The two distances an hour apart make it feasible to run both, or to walk the short one with family and then race the 5K. Neither asks for a dedicated training block; a few weeks of regular running is plenty. With an afternoon start you can eat a normal lunch-sized meal early, keep it light, and use the extra time to loosen up rather than sitting in the car until the last minute.
