Redbud Classic

Redbud Classic is a long-standing Oklahoma City-area event, held in Nichols Hills, Oklahoma, on April 3–4, 2027, and it brings walking, running, and cycling together across two days. Saturday is for the bikes: a 50-mile Redbud Fondo, a 30-mile timed tour, and a 10-mile fun ride, all rolling out at 8:00 a.m. Sunday holds the foot events, with the 10K (6.2 miles) and 5K (3.1 miles) runs at 2:00 p.m., wheelchair and pushchair 10K and 5K divisions at the same hour, a 2-mile walk and stroller derby, and a 1-mile kids' fun run and Woof Walk at noon.

The wheelchair and pushchair divisions, the stroller and dog walks, and the spread of cycling distances make this one of the more genuinely inclusive events on the spring calendar, and proceeds support local nonprofits. If you want a competitive run, the Sunday 10K is the pick, though a 2:00 p.m. start is late enough that you should plan your eating around it rather than treating it like a morning race. Riders can pair a Saturday distance with a Sunday run for a full weekend.
