Sharsheret West Coast Dash

Sharsheret West Coast Dash is held in Los Angeles, California, on October 25, 2026. The 10K and 5K run and walk events, 6.2 and 3.1 miles, both start at 8:00 a.m., and a Family Fun Race over 1K follows at 9:15. A virtual entry is available if you cannot attend in person.

Having the two main distances go off together is worth planning for: pick the 10K only if you already run comfortably for an hour, since the last two miles will expose a thin base, and take the 5K otherwise. The 1K is there for children and for anyone who wants to be part of the morning without racing. The day is open to all ages and abilities and continues with a festival, tributes to community figures and to Sharsheret's founder, and a beach cleanup at the end. Proceeds support people affected by breast and ovarian cancer.
