Skinnydipper Sun Run

Skinnydipper Sun Run is a clothing-optional cross-country race at the Wildwood Naturists Resort in Decatur, Texas, on April 24, 2027. The single 5K Run covers 3.1 miles and starts at 1:00 PM. The loop takes in ravines, fallen logs, gravel paths, wooded trails and open meadows, and chip timing gives every entrant an accurate result.

The mix of surfaces and obstacles makes this closer to a cross-country race than a road 5K, so expect uneven footing and do not compare your finish time to a track or street effort. Trail shoes with real grip help, as does practicing on rough ground where you have to pick your line rather than switch off. The early afternoon start is worth planning food around. Snacks and refreshments are available afterward, followed by a barbecue dinner.
