Spa Running Festival

Spa Running Festival is held in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on November 14, 2026, in the setting of Hot Springs National Park. The lineup includes a half marathon (13.1 miles) at 7:00 AM, the Spa 10K (6.2 miles) at 7:45 AM, a 5K Run (3.1 miles) at 8:00 AM, and the Spa Squirt Race, a 1K for kids, at 11:00 AM. The half marathon course shows off West Mountain and the historic downtown, including the well-known line of bathhouses along Bathhouse Row.

With a mountain on the route, the half is not a pure flat-and-fast course, so go in with a plan for the climbs: hill repeats every week or two during a 12-week build, and long runs on rolling terrain. The 10K and 5K make it easy for a family to spread across distances on the same morning. At the finish, the event turns into a festival with live music and food, and proceeds go to local organizations including Hot Springs Friends of the Parks and Ouachita Children, Youth and Family Services. Runners of all levels are welcome.
