Spooky Shuffle – 5K, 10K, Half Marathon

Spooky Shuffle – 5K, 10K, Half Marathon is a Halloween-themed race held at Woodley Park in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, California, on October 25, 2026. The half marathon (13.1 miles) and the 10K both start at 7 a.m. and the 5K follows at 7:30 a.m. Organized by Mercury Events, the courses use park paths, open green space and tunnel underpasses, and taking part in costume is part of the fun.

Park paths keep the footing predictable, which makes any of the three distances a reasonable place to run hard if you want to. The 5K is a good entry point for a first race day, the 10K rewards a few weeks of tempo work, and the half marathon fits a runner already carrying a long run of ten miles or more.
