Stonington Vineyard Wine Run Turkey Trot

Stonington Vineyard Wine Run Turkey Trot is held at Stonington Vineyards in Stonington, in southeastern Connecticut, on November 8, 2026. The single 5K starts at 10 a.m., and you can run it, walk it or simply take in the surroundings and taste the local wines. Entry includes a shirt, an unbreakable wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, and a glass of wine to toast the finish.

This is a social 5K first and a race second, which makes it a good target if you want an event on the calendar without a training plan hanging over you. Three easy runs a week for a month is enough to cover the distance comfortably. If you do intend to race it, do your drinking after the finish line rather than before it.
