Summer Smith 5k Addiction Awareness Memorial Run

Summer Smith 5k Addiction Awareness Memorial Run returns to Guilderland, New York, on October 24, 2026. The 5K (3.1 miles) memorial run starts at 10 a.m., preceded by a Kids Fun Run over a quarter of a mile at 9:45 a.m. A remembrance ceremony is held before the event to honor those affected by addiction.

The race is open to runners and walkers alike in a family setting, and proceeds go to local initiatives including a scholarship fund and addiction treatment services.
