The Pink Dress Run

The Pink Dress Run is held in Knoxville, Tennessee, on October 24, 2026, with the timed 5K (3.1 miles) starting at 9 a.m. Organized by the American Cancer Society's Men Wear Pink campaign and led by its ambassadors, it is open to runners and walkers of every level and raises money and awareness for breast cancer.

Finisher medals, age-group recognition and a "who wore it best" contest give the morning both a competitive and a light-hearted side, and participants are encouraged to turn up in pink. Because it is chip-timed, the 5K works as a genuine benchmark: run it once, note the time, and use it to set training paces afterwards. Proceeds support breast cancer research and awareness programs through the American Cancer Society.
