The Skeleton Run - Oceanport, NJ

The Skeleton Run is held at Fort Monmouth in Oceanport, New Jersey, on October 24, 2026, with the 5K (3.1 miles) starting at 10 a.m. It is a Halloween celebration with spooky surprises along a scenic route, and runners and walkers are transformed by the skeleton costumes provided, though creative outfits of your own are strongly encouraged.

Afterwards, participants collect their timed results plus a celebration drink at Baseline Social and Birdsmouth Brewing and a few extra treats. Beacon Events, known for memorable endurance experiences, organizes the day, and a share of proceeds supports HABcore's work helping families, veterans and people with special needs find stable housing.
