Trick or Treat 5k

Trick or Treat 5k is held at Green Lake Park in Seattle, Washington, on October 31, 2026. The run and walk covers 5 km, 3.1 miles, and starts at 10:00 a.m. It is an annual Halloween event open to all ages and levels of fitness, run as much for the occasion as for the result.

With a late start and a field that spans every age, this is a low-pressure 5K. If it is your first, run and walk in intervals rather than pushing from the gun; four minutes on and one minute off will get you around in decent shape. If you know the distance well, use the extra time to warm up properly — ten minutes of jogging and a few strides — because a cold first mile is where most casual 5K attempts lose their time.
