Trick or Trot 5K - Birmingham

Trick or Trot 5K is a costumed race held in Birmingham, Alabama, on October 24, 2026, with the 5K (3.1 miles) starting at 8 a.m. It benefits Kid One Transport, which drives children and expectant mothers to medical care, and offers both in-person and virtual entry. Runners of all ages are welcome, including those pushing strollers and those bringing pets.

Every participant receives a shirt and can enter the costume contest, and awards go to the top runners by gender and age group as well as for the best costumes among individuals, teams, kids and pets. Costumes are encouraged but never required, so you can just as easily treat it as a straightforward road 5K. All profits go to Kid One Transport. An 8 a.m. start means arriving early enough to park and pin your bib without hurry.
