Bloomington Montessori Fall Fun Run 5K Trail Race and Family Fun Run

Bloomington Montessori Fall Fun Run 5K Trail Race and Family Fun Run is a community event at the Fowler Pumpkin Patch in south-central Indiana, near Bloomington, on October 24, 2026. The 5K trail race starts at 9:00 a.m., and family fun runs of 1.5 miles and one mile follow at 9:10 a.m. The routes run through woods and meadows on mowed paths, dirt and gravel, with small hills along the way.

Mixed surfaces and short climbs make this slower than a road 5K, so run it on effort and pick shoes with some grip. It is organized by the Bloomington Montessori School, a nonprofit serving children in Monroe County, with proceeds going to its Early Childhood Scholarship Fund and to Mother Hubbard's Cupboard, which works on food insecurity. With two shorter options starting minutes later, families can spread across the distances and still finish together.
