Buddy the Bull Stampede

Buddy the Bull Stampede is held in Arcadia, Florida, on November 7, 2026. The running event is a 5K trail race at 7:30 a.m. over 3.1 miles, followed by a 15K mountain bike race at 8:30 a.m., and the whole thing is set up for participants of all levels rather than for a narrow racing crowd.

A trail 5K asks for different habits than a road 5K: shorter strides, eyes a few paces ahead, and a willingness to let the pace fluctuate with the ground under you. It is a good first step off the road if you have only raced pavement. Around the racing there are family activities, food and live music, and finishers get distinctive awards. The event supports Eirene Ranch, an organization working on healing through equine-assisted learning.
