The Donut 5K Holiday Run/Walk is run in Carmel, Indiana, on December 19, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. from St. Vincent Sports Performance at Clay Terrace. Jack's Donuts are handed out along the course and again at the finish, where thousands more are waiting. There is prize money for the top three men and women plus age-group awards, and entry fees support local animal shelters. Every participant gets an official event shirt, a finisher medal, a special hat, and other gear.
Prize money means the front of the field will be genuinely quick, so set your own target and race your own pace. If you plan to eat donuts on course, that is a choice with consequences at 5K effort; most runners save them for the finish. Walkers are welcome, which keeps the event open to everyone.
