Glowing Gobbler 5K

Glowing Gobbler 5K takes place in Newport News, Virginia, on November 25, 2026, with a 5K road race starting at 6:30 PM. Running at night through a light display is a different experience from a morning road race, and it rewards a relaxed approach: the scenery is part of the point. Beginners can prepare with three or four weeks of easy running; a headlamp is generally unnecessary given the lit course, but reflective clothing is never a bad idea.
