Jamestown Glow Run/Walk

Jamestown Glow Run/Walk takes place in Sequim, Washington, on December 5, 2026. The 5K and the 10K both start at 4:30 p.m. and follow an out-and-back route along the Olympic Discovery Trail, setting off at dusk so that much of the running is done under lights. Every participant must bring a headlamp, and a few entrants win one through the event giveaways.

Running in the dark changes your pacing more than most people expect: footing you would take for granted in daylight needs a beat more attention, so plan on being slightly slower than your usual road time. Test your headlamp on a training run first, and check the battery. The 5K is the easier introduction to night running, while the 10K gives a trail-fit runner a full hour or so of steady effort along the trail.
