KEYSYS 5K Cahaba Heights

The KEYSYS 5K Cahaba Heights is run in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, on January 30, 2027, with the 5K and a one-mile run/walk both starting at 8 a.m. The course goes through the Cahaba Heights neighborhoods, starting and finishing at the KEYSYS office. It is open to participants of all ages, including those pushing strollers or bringing a dog, and entry includes an event shirt.

Awards go to the top three men and women overall and to standouts in each age group, which gives a wide range of runners something to race for rather than just a finish time. Family activities and local vendors round out the morning. With the 5K and the mile going off together, decide beforehand which one you are actually racing, and if it is the mile, treat it as the short, sharp effort it is: a proper warm-up matters more there than on any longer distance.
