Meatball Run 5K

Meatball Run 5K takes place in Summerville, South Carolina, on November 14, 2026. The program includes a certified 5K run (3.1 miles) and a 5K walk, both starting at 8:30 a.m., and a 1-mile fun run/walk that goes off first at 8:00 a.m. The event is tied to the Summerville Italian Feast and is open to all ages and abilities, with awards for the top finishers in each age group and for the largest team.

Courses start and finish at St. Paul's and run through Summerville's historic district, and proceeds go to the Dorchester District II Educational Foundation, which funds STEAM programs for local students. Because the 5K is a certified course, it is a legitimate place to set a personal best. Run the first mile under control, hold pace through the second, and use the final mile to push. A six-week build with three runs a week, including one interval session, will get you there. The 1-mile is ideal for kids or as a warm-up if you are doing both.
