Old Town Rudolph Run

Old Town Rudolph Run is an annual 5K held in Leander, Texas, on December 5, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM. Organized by the Leander Chamber of Commerce and visitor bureau, it takes place in Old Town Leander on a chip-timed, flat course open to everyone, including participants with strollers or leashed dogs. Each entrant receives a t-shirt and a medal, and awards go to the top male and female finishers in the various age categories.

A flat, chip-timed 5K is the right setting for a personal best attempt: there are no hills to disrupt your rhythm and your time is measured from your own start. Aim for even splits across the three miles, with a slight acceleration in the final half mile. If you are pushing a stroller or running with a dog, line up toward the back so the first turns stay clear.
