St. Luke’s D&L RaceFest

St. Luke's D&L RaceFest is held in East Penn Township, Pennsylvania, on November 15, 2026. The program covers a marathon (26.2 miles) and a half marathon (13.1 miles), each offered as a run and as a separate walk division, so the same two distances are open to walkers competing in their own category.

Having both a run and a walk option widens the day considerably: a marathon walk is a real endurance project in its own right, and pairs well with training built around long, steady time on feet rather than pace work. Runners targeting the full marathon should plan a 16-week build with a weekly long run reaching about 20 miles. The half is the more accessible target for anyone with a few months of consistent running, and it makes a good stepping stone toward a marathon next season.
